You can see the rememnants of this today as the main language of Barbados is English and their main religion is Anglicansim from The Church of England. Barbados has many signiture food dishes that represent the culture very well. Most of these dishes are prepared with rice as well. Rice was the main crop produced in Barbados for a long time. Barbados's history of slave labored rice production heavily influinced the colony of South Carolina.
